An Unexpected Journey with Bungalow House Studio
Who would have thought that something as simple as a greeting card business would have such a profound impact on my life? Since starting Bungalow House Studio, my attitude, aspirations, and faith have evolved in ways I couldn’t have predicted.
Bungalow House Studio started as a 4x6 greeting card business. In year two this adventure lead me to purchase a brick n’ mortar home decor business. This new business experience gave me a deeper understanding of my wholesale partners that I had already established and encouraged me to start working more on Bungalow House Studio so my partners could get a higher margin. However, this brick n’ mortar had an unexpected turn (more on that later), and it reminded me of how deeply my heart was invested into this little greeting card business.
What began as a creative venture has grown into so much more. Instead of keeping my faith in a box , I’ve learned that faith, hope, and trust in the Lord are essential in every aspect of life—and in every circumstance. Starting this business has taught me that I don’t need to control the future. The truth is, the only one who knows my future is the very one who is holding it. Trusting in God's plan has been a beautiful lesson along this journey.
