We all have a dog story. Mine starts at about 12 months old. I was sitting in the grocery cart barking like a dog. As if that wasn't enough, I would crawl under the dinner table during family gatherings and tug on my relatives' pants while barking like a dog. Wow, I guess I was pretty persistent. Clearly, the pups in this collection are better behaved than I was;)
This is all true, or so I’m told by my family. I’m not embarrassed, I’m just weird. It’s ok.
See below our sweet Chance. The best childhood dog I could have ever asked for!
Fast forward to being surrounded in my Sunday School nursery with a fresh litter of Golden Retriever puppies. A lady in our church had a new littler available and my brother said, “C’mon Mom, let’s give this dog a CHANCE!” And it stuck. Chance was his name and he was the best dog ever. As you can see my love for dogs has always been strong. Naturally, painting this collection was an easy and fun journey.
Now, with a family of my own, our sweet Cane Corso, Guido, comes in pretty close competition to taking Chance’s title as “Best Dog Ever.” I’m sure you feel the same about your dog.
See above our Guido as a puppy. I started BHS not long after getting him and he has been by my side each day:)
So tell me, do you have the best dog ever? Let’s see if you can find your pup in my brand new “Sit & Stay” Collection that is about ready to be fully unleashed!
Check out a sneak peak of the first card in the collection featuring some other pups with fun stories behind them just like mine:

P.S. Keep an eye out for our "Sit & Stay" Collection! I will be doing a soft launch on Oct 1, 2024! I was hopeful for a FULL launch, but I'm learning to be more realistic as a new mama with a baby at home;) LOTS and LOTS to come with this fun collection.
P.S.S. Thank you for making it all the way to the bottom of this blog post! Here are two free phone screen savers to celebrate the "Sit & Stay" Collection
