A simple memory that has made its mark on my heart.
A Journey Through My Childhood
Hiding under the comfort of my pink and purple princess castle, I was surrounded by the warmth of all the stuffed animals in the world.
I found comfort in my mothers voice reading my favorite story for the 101st time.
Fastly turning pages with her ruby red nail polish, my mom read aloud the dramatic plan for the death defying pack of dalmatians, this was their escape route.

The Dalmatian Breed From Sit & Stay
My five year old mind mustered the will to continue to pay attention to the best story ever. As the main characters would make it home safely once again, I could finally find rest.
My favorite family of dalmatians made it home!
This ordinary day was like most days in my childhood.
The simplicity and comfort of my mom’s ruby red nail polish paired with the cuddles of my favorite dalmatian story remind me of this cherished part of my upbringing.
Dalmatian's Link To Nostalgia
My mom’s steadfast love, in reading the same story on repeat, reminds me of how much she loved spending time with me, even if it meant doing the same thing over and over again.
I think that’s how it happened.
This fond memory inspired me to build a collection of nostalgic art and products with the hope that you can feel this same love too. Yes, I'm hoping that a simple dalmatian print will remind you how much you are loved.
In the comfort of my mothers steadfast love I saw a glimpse of how much Jesus really loves me. And guess what, He loves you too! Psalm 36:5 says,
“Your steadfast love, O LORD,
Extends to the heavens,
Your faithfulness to the clouds.”
Psalm 36:5
Isn’t the imagery that we get from scripture beautiful?
We are gifted with relationships here on earth to help give us glimpses into the love that Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior has for us.
While I’ve been given so much love from the relationships here on earth like my family. The love that our Lord has for you and for me extends to the heavens.
