My Two Boys Hanging Out In The Studio
An Ordinary Day At Bungalow House Studio
This picture captures my view on an ordinary workday in the studio. From my desk in our Bungalow House Studio, I get to see two of my greatest joys: my toddler and our dog looking out the window, soaking in the view. While the view outside isn’t the most breathtaking - living in the city it’s really a straight on view to our neighbors backyard. My inside view is a simple and beautiful moment that reminds me every day of the true meaning of home.
Just like I shared yesterday in the blog about the philosophy behind the naming of Bungalow House Studio. The builders who installed the very windows my son is leaning on are who helped build this house. But it is the very fact that my son gets to lean on them next to the comfort of his best friend, Guido, is what makes this space our home. They are interacting with the space in a way that brings warmth and joy.

The Intention Behind The Product
That is exactly what my intention is as I create and design the art here at Bungalow House Studio. The art is only but a picture until it is interacted with. The pretty bag with my floral print is only an item until it is put to use, it becomes a daily essential to carry around the diapers, lipgloss, and identification inside of it that makes it your own.
Or take our original Bungalow House Studio greeting cards, even a simple piece of paper with a pretty drawing on it only goes so far. It’s when you write a heartfelt work to a struggling teen that brings more worth to that piece of paper that thought possible.
What we initially thought would be “just a house” has become Bungalow House Studio. A source of daily inspiration, a place where creativity flows, a space that fuels Bungalow House Studio and everything we do here.
I’m incredibly thankful for the little blessings that come with each day, and it’s moments like this that make me appreciate the family-oriented, creative space we’ve built here. It’s not just about the work I do—it’s about the people and the home that support it, it's about you!
Bungalow House Studio has allowed me to treasure my greatest joys.
